Five days built around the two great waters of Uganda: white-water rafting on the Nile at Jinja, then the Big Five on the savannah of Murchison Falls, with rhinos at Ziwa on the way.
Day by day.
Jinja and the Nile
Meet your driver-guide and transfer to Jinja, 2-3 hours from Kampala. After checking in, head to the legendary Nile for a white-water rafting experience, the world's longest river at its wildest. No experience needed: professional guides stay with you all the way. Return to your lodge for lunch and a lazy afternoon.
Ziwa Rhinos, then Murchison
Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda's largest, stopping at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to walk (with an armed ranger) among the last white rhinos of Uganda.
Game drive and the falls
An early game drive across the sweeping plains: lions, leopards, elephants, buffaloes and rich birdlife. After lunch, a scenic boat cruise to the base of Murchison Falls, past hippos, crocodiles and water birds.
Top of the Falls, then Entebbe
Drive to the top of Murchison Falls, where the whole Nile forces itself through a narrow gorge with a thunderous roar and a misty rainbow. Then begin the transfer back to Entebbe.
Departure
Transfer to Entebbe International Airport for your flight home, with the Nile and the Big Five still in your head.
