Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 22 July 2026
Belvi is a travel brand operated by IssamStories LLC (New Mexico, USA), referred to here as "Belvi", "we" or "us". These Terms & Conditions govern every booking. By booking a trip, paying a deposit or the full price, or joining a trip, you ("the traveller", "you") confirm that you are at least 18 years old and that you have read, understood and accepted these terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your booking. Please read them carefully before you pay.
1. Booking, deposit & payment
A booking is confirmed only once we accept it and you have paid the deposit (30% of the trip price) or the full price. The deposit is non-refundable. The balance is due by the date stated in your confirmation; if it is not paid on time we may treat the booking as cancelled by you and retain the deposit. Prices are per person and exclude flights unless expressly stated otherwise.
2. Cancellation & changes by you
Cancellations must be sent to us in writing. Because we commit money to hotels, operators and other suppliers as soon as you book, cancellation charges reflect the costs we have already incurred. The deposit covers our up-front planning and reservation costs and is non-refundable. The closer to departure you cancel, the more of the balance may also be non-refundable, up to the full price, as set out in your confirmation. No refund is given for arriving late, leaving early, no-shows, or any unused part of a trip (accommodation, meals, transfers or activities). Travel insurance that covers cancellation is strongly recommended.
3. Flights and missed departures
Unless you have expressly booked flights through Belvi, your flights are your own responsibility. Even where we help you find or book flights, we act only as an intermediary and are not responsible for airlines, flight prices, schedules, delays, cancellations, missed connections, overbooking, denied boarding, or lost baggage. If you miss your flight, arrive after the trip has started, or cannot travel because of a flight issue, this is not our responsibility and no refund is due. You are responsible for allowing enough time and for reaching the trip's meeting point.
4. Travel documents, visas & entry
You are solely responsible for holding a valid passport, any required visas, and any health or entry requirements for every country on your trip. We are not liable if you are refused boarding or entry, and no refund is due in that case.
5. Travel insurance is mandatory
You must hold comprehensive travel insurance covering, at a minimum, medical treatment and repatriation, personal accident, trip cancellation and curtailment, and your personal belongings, valid for the whole trip and for every activity you take part in. Travelling without adequate insurance is at your own risk and does not create any liability for us.
6. Activities and your own risk
Trips and optional activities (including but not limited to boat trips, diving, snorkelling, quad and buggy rides, go-karting, kitesurfing, hiking, glacier walks, paragliding, balloon flights and similar) carry inherent risks. You take part voluntarily and at your own risk. You confirm you are in adequate health and fitness for the activities you choose. Optional activities are operated by independent licensed local providers and are subject to their own terms, safety rules and to weather; Belvi acts only as an intermediary in arranging them, and the operator carries its own liability and insurance. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Belvi is not liable for any accident, injury, illness, death, or loss caused by a third-party operator or by your own participation in a trip or activity. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our own negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you.
7. Personal belongings, theft & loss
You are responsible for your own money, documents, luggage and valuables at all times. Belvi is not responsible for loss, theft or damage to your belongings at airports, in transit, at hotels, on boats, during activities, or anywhere else during the trip. Please use hotel safes and keep valuables with you, and claim any such loss through your travel insurance.
8. Third-party suppliers
Hotels, airlines, transfer companies, guides, restaurants and activity operators are independent third parties, not employees or agents of Belvi. Their own terms and conditions apply. Belvi is not liable for the acts, omissions, negligence, default, cancellation or insolvency of any third-party supplier.
9. Changes or cancellation by us, and force majeure
We may change or cancel a trip, or parts of a programme (including for minimum-group-size reasons or safety). If we cancel a whole trip for reasons within our control, we will offer you a comparable alternative or a refund of what you paid to us for that trip; this is the full extent of our responsibility. We are not liable for any change, delay, cancellation, loss or additional cost caused by events beyond our reasonable control ("force majeure"), including weather, natural events, fire, illness, epidemics or pandemics, strikes, transport disruption, airport or border closures, war, terrorism, civil unrest, or acts of any government or authority.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Belvi's total liability to you in connection with any trip is limited to the total amount you actually paid to Belvi for that trip. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential loss, or for loss of enjoyment, opportunity, earnings or holiday. Nothing in these terms excludes any liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
11. Conduct
You must behave responsibly and respect local laws, customs, other travellers and staff. We may remove from a trip, without refund, anyone whose behaviour is unsafe, illegal or seriously disruptive.
12. Photos & media
A photographer, videographer and drone pilot may travel with the group. We only use images or video in which you are identifiable to promote our trips if you have given consent, which we ask for separately when you book. You can withdraw that consent at any time by writing to us, and we will stop using new material featuring you. How we handle your personal data is described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Complaints
If something goes wrong during your trip, tell us and the local supplier at once so we have a chance to fix it. Any complaint must also be sent to us in writing within 28 days of the end of the trip. Reporting late may reduce or remove our ability to help.
14. General
We may use trusted third parties to deliver parts of your trip. If any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest stays in full force. A delay in enforcing these terms is not a waiver of our rights. These terms, together with your written trip confirmation, are the whole agreement between us and replace any earlier discussion.
15. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA, where Belvi's operating entity (IssamStories LLC) is registered, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and any dispute is subject to the competent courts of New Mexico, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you may have in your country of residence.
