🇮🇸 Iceland · Group trip

Fire, ice and everything between.

A week along the south coast: waterfalls you walk behind, a glacier under your crampons, icebergs on a black beach, and long dark nights that are prime for the northern lights.

The program

Your week in Iceland

Built to catch every landscape at its best light, and to leave room for the unplanned.

Day1

Land in the lava

Pickup at Keflavik, first drive across the Reykjanes lava fields, and straight into the water: a welcome soak in a geothermal lagoon by the fjord. Welcome dinner in Reykjavik, group briefing, early night.

Day2

The Golden Circle, done right

Thingvellir at opening time to walk the rift between two continents before the crowds, Geysir erupting on schedule, the double curtain of Gullfoss, and the red crater of Kerid. Night in a countryside farm stay, hot tub outside, first northern lights watch in season.

Farm-stay night
Day3

Waterfalls and a glacier under your feet

Walk behind Seljalandsfoss, squeeze into the hidden canyon of Gljufrabui, feel the spray of Skogafoss. Afternoon: crampons on for a guided walk on the Solheimajokull glacier tongue. Golden hour on Reynisfjara black sand beach, basalt columns and crashing waves. Night in Vik.

Guided glacier walk included
Day4

Icebergs on black sand

East through the Eldhraun moss fields to Fjadrargljufur canyon, then Vatnajokull national park. The finale: Jokulsarlon glacier lagoon, icebergs drifting to the sea, and Diamond Beach where the ice glitters on black sand until sunset.

Day5

The secret south

The famous DC-3 plane wreck alone on the black desert of Solheimasandur for a shoot with our photographer, then a soak in Seljavallalaug, a hidden pool wedged between mountains since 1923. Slow evening: group dinner, hot tub, lights hunt.

Photoshoot day
Day6

New lava and the big soak

Hike across the fresh lava of Fagradalsfjall, one of the youngest landscapes on Earth, cross the bridge between two continents, watch the mud boil at Gunnuhver. End with the Sky Lagoon seven-step ritual facing the Atlantic, then farewell dinner in Reykjavik.

Day7

Reykjavik, then home

Breakfast, Hallgrimskirkja and the old harbour, last souvenirs, and a transfer to Keflavik. You'll leave with a full camera roll and a new group of friends.
